Tactile Studio is an image processing studio based in London, dedicated to the craft of hand printing and analogue techniques. We work with photographers to translate their images into physical form through manual processes such as c-type and gelatin silver printing, as well as alternative methods such as cyanotype or platinum palladium, and surface interventions including collage and mark making. All work, once printed, can be converted by us to digital files through high-resolution scanning. The studio’s focus is on producing work which celebrates the tactile qualities of hand-made photographic processes, creating prints which feel both purposeful and enduring.
